My relationship with Pilates began long before I became an instructor. I first discovered Pilates more than a decade ago while searching for ways to better manage ongoing back pain. Having lived with chronic pain since my teenage years, movement was never something I took for granted. I wanted to understand my body better, move with less discomfort and find a sustainable way to feel stronger.
To be honest, I didn’t love Pilates at first. The exercises felt challenging, and I quickly realised how limited my mobility actually was. But something encouraged me to keep going. Over time, Pilates transformed the way I moved and the way I connected with my body. It taught me that strength isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about moving with awareness, patience and consistency.
What began as a personal journey gradually became a passion. After moving to Germany, I decided to deepen my knowledge through professional training and completed a comprehensive 500-hour Pilates education through Club Pilates. I continue to invest in my education through the internationally recognised STOTT Pilates method and ongoing professional development.
Interestingly, I never originally planned to become an instructor. I began studying Pilates to help myself. But shortly after starting my training, I was offered my first teaching opportunity, and I immediately knew I had found something I loved. Today, my goal is simple: to help others feel stronger, move with confidence and build trust in their bodies — regardless of where they are starting from.
